Fences not only frame the perimeter of your garden, they also increase the security of your garden and home, so when it comes to fencing, why not invest in the best?

What Is A Close Board Fence?

Close Board, also known as feather board fencing is one of the most common styles of garden fencing found here in the UK is the close-board fencing. This style of fencing is a strong and solid structure created by overlapping vertical feather-edged wooden boards. This option offers a great level of privacy whilst looking neat and tidy and offering protection to your garden from the elements. This style can be made to suit any height, however, for taller fences please make yourself familiar with the local ruling on the height of garden fencing.

Pros

There are a number of pros to this style of fencing. Meaning it remains a firm favourite with our team here, and with much of the UK who still opt for this style to frame their gardens.

  • Ideal for most gardens
  • Robust and long-lasting
  • Its height (usually 6ft) provides security
  • Provides privacy
  • Deters intruders
  • Good for pet owners
