Who are B&K Timber?

Posted by Bart Tomczak on 02/04/2021 12:44

If you are from the Staffordshire area, in particular Stoke-On-Trent, you are sure to have heard our radio jingle: "Attention-grabbing gates!". So now you might be wondering who we are.

From The Beginning

Established over 35 years ago, back in 1985, the company started up as a family run business, with Mr Potts at the head of the table.
Designed as a business that would supply the local area with purpose-built and bespoke garden gates, the family took pride in offering the highest quality of products, built with professional skill and delivered and fitted with a friendly smile.
In 2015, Mr Potts took a step back and handed the reins over to his son Carl alongside his wife, with the hope of keeping up the same great reputation that had built over the last 30 years.

Where are we now?

Having continued to build the business with the same great beliefs on professionalism, high quality and bespoke products, we are still here today, just as proud as 35 years ago.
Our team is still as dedicated as always, and we continue to ensure that each and every member is fully skilled in their role, and with each bespoke project, they have the opportunity to expand their skills and knowledge.
Each part of our process, from your initial interest, the design, the built and even the delivery and fitting is completed by a member of our team, we do not outsource any stage, ensuring that our customers are left completely satisfied with both our work and our team.

How do we keep our reputation?

A good strong reputation is built on the foundation of hard work and dedication. Here at B&K Timber, we are dedicated to supplying our customers with only the very best quality products made from only the finest raw materials we can sustainably source.
We only use PEFC and FSC certified timber and our gates are produced from the highest of quality Scandinavian Slow Grown, Joinery Grade redwood timber using a traditional mortise and tenon joints.
Each of our team is a highly skilled professional who knows the importance of good customer service, meaning you will never be disappointed in our work or our team.
